Parts & Pieces
är ett konstnärskollektiv präglat av tankar, material, processer och interaktioner mellan de involverade konstnärerna, konsthantverkarna och formgivarna. Gruppen strävar efter att skapa en pågående dialog och ett utbyte mellan varandra, där de möts för att hitta en gemensam grund genom utställningar.
Kollektivet samlades för första gången under Stockholm Craft Week 2022 och presenterade ett urval av verk i keramik, textil, sten, trä och blandad media. Sedan dess har samarbetet fortsatt, bland annat genom utställningen In-Between på Studio Tina Hellberg Galleri 2023 och Shaping Stories på Hallwylska museet i oktober 2024.
Medlemmarna i kollektivet besitter en bred erfarenhet och kunskap inom konsthantverkoch design, både som kreatörer och genom att leda undervisning, workshops och offentliga evenemang. De har kopplingar till institutioner som Capellagården, Handarbetets Vänner,Konstfack och Kungliga Konsthögskolan.

Shaping stories
Hallwylska museet är hantverksskicklighet på en stor skala. Kollektivt har vi haft ett antal reaktioner på detta hus, som plats för inspiration likväl som en plats att presentera konstnärliga arbeten. Återkommande tankar cirkulerade kring hur vi kunde finna VÅR väg till byggnaden, att relatera i dialog med det spektrum av identiteter som huset representerar: som historisk artefakt, ett hem, livsverk, en tidskapsel av förmögenhet och smak…
Ett sätt vi kunde göra detta var att se våra verk som ytterligare lager, tillsammans i de ytor som nu stått obebodda i åratal. Som en del av Stockholm Craft Week 2024, söker våra verk nya narrativ kring personliga historier, individuella inspirationer, och flerfaldiga konsthantverksperspektiv.

As a collective, there were a number of initial responses to this house as a site of inspiration as well as a location in which to present new work.
